Of mice and men

For the passage they give you in part A I don't see how you can find many techniques in such a limited amount of time. Has anyone got any advice?

Just read through the novel, and get familiar with the main themes and features of characters. One thing I`d advise you to do is summarise each chapter, saying what themes are represented, how characters are represented and how they are described in EACH chapter. That way when you get a passage, you can recognise which chapter its from and remember the notes you made on that :smile:

Just practise to be honest, go through past papers and analyse the passages they gave in the past then check the mark scheme to get better
