I'm at university at the moment studying.
I am looking to go into the police afterwards so I thought it was a good time to focus on building my application for the police outside university.
I was looking to do some work experience or something that would make me stand out from others?
Any ideas of what I could do????

    Thank you!!

Well more generally; do you have work experience? Have you been employed before?

For any graduate scheme (or the like) the focus will be on you to prove, through your past experience, if you have certain skills that employers want. The skills will depend on what you want to do but generally include teamwork, ability to lead, ability to work under pressure etc.

special police officers! ones that don't get paid - community support - but you do get free travel apparently and only have to commit 16 hours a month (I hear)
