right so my English lit exams are next week and the problem is that I haven't don't know any texts apart from of mice and men and I haven't looked over any poems. I got an A* in my course work, what would I need to do to get a pass for English lit?

You'd probably want to write some notes for each character, including their importance/role in the novel, and the themes that Steinbeck tries to portray in relation to these characters. There's also a load of notes on bitesize regarding themes, historical context, characters, chapter summaries, it's really useful!
