Ok, so me and my running mates on some days do like a competition of jumping over rivers etc on our sunday run and there was this massive drop on one (of about 20ft) and when i landed my right knee felt like it went into shock. This morning it's no better...
It's on the inside of the knee and I'm a little scared that it's something serious. Can anyone tell me if they know what it is?
I was looking up online and some are saying it could be a torn ligament, but i didn't overstretch it, if anything I just landed like the way you would land any other time.
Ps. I don't need the third degree about "don't do it, it's stupid". I think I've learned my lesson
Yes, it's a common case of absolute stupidity.
Leave it for another couple of days and see what happens. You can't really tell much after less than 24 hours of leaving it. You can still walk so it's obviously not super serious.
