    Hi there,
I am a little confused, I was born in the EU and the country of residence I lived in at first gave me a travel document. Now it has expired and I am not able to apply for a new one as I have moved to the UK now it has been 8 years since then. My travel document expired a year ago so I have been trying to apply for a passport since. Unfortunately both UK and the EU country I was born in are not offering me a passport according to one of their rules but I am able to get a Sri Lankan passport as my parents are from their and my dad has a Sri Lankan nationality and my mum has a EU passport. So, I was wondering because I don't currently have a passport would it still be possible to apply to university in the UK? and would I still be able to apply if I had a Sri Lankan passport as my mother is part of the EU and as I was born in EU, lived in the UK since 2005??

    Thanks in advance.

You would still be able to apply to be able to apply to university under a Sri Lankan passport however you may have the situation of having to pay international fees. What is your current nationality/citizenship status?
