I have my psychological investigations AS exam tomorrow for OCR and I was wondering if anyone has come across any random terms that they've been asked to define that aren't necessarily in the text book, for instance I saw 'time sampling' which threw me off as I can't remember learning about that specific term. Would be extremely helpful if anyone could think of any more?

Event sampling - a researcher records the specific behaviour they are looking for everytime it occurs

Nominal (mode), Interval (mean), Ordinal (median)

Descriptive statistics- summary of the data but no conclusion
inferential statistics - conclusion in relation to hypothesis
