    Hey does anyone one know what is better for getting into oxford, NCEA the main qualification in New Zealand or IB.

    IBs are more common but if your doing the NCEA providing your getting the top credits you will find it doesn't actually matter all that much.
    Everything will be calculated at the time of application and tutors/colleges will easily be able to reference how the grades compare to the more well known UK standards.

    You need - A total score of at least 38 points including core points, with 6s and 7s in subjects taken at the Higher level for I

    Or - University Entrance Certificate with National Certificates of Educational Achievement (NCEA) at Level 3 endorsed with Excellence.
