in other words you can change your looks, but you can't do anything to increase your intelligence. Fair point, but i still can't decide, because smart people often end up doing fulfilling but poorly-paid jobs like being university lecturers or researchers. Also you'd have to go years with being ugly, through the times when people care most about the way you look! I can't decide. The best of both would be nice

Can I just be a good person? 
Smart and ugly any day of the week. I don't really care if it would be easier being dumb and beautiful, since I can't imagine living any kind of fulfilling life as an idiot. I value my intellect above all else, and since I've grown used to not looking too great, that wouldn't be much of an issue.
