It was the worst paper ever. The altitude question and ugh i don't even want to think about the 6 mark questions. I made so much up!

Did everyone else find it horrible? Please?

Yep as did everyone in my school. I felt the long markers were too specific like the destructive waves and I couldn't come up with enough points. Literally no cases I probs used 5 max cause I forced them in. Truly awful paper and it was badly written and very long for the time given :/

Worst exam I've ever done. Did they change the mark scheme? Was anyone told that the questions were worth more marks than in the past? I thought I was good at geography; I got an A* in the mock, but this exam was sooooo different. The questions were vague but the subject was specific. How will climate change affect the hydrological cycle? How can you make that 6 marks??? Increases speed of evaporation (1 mark) and therefore more frequent precipitation (1 mark). Also, glaciers may melt causing more surface runoff (1 mark) therefore increasing the risk of flooding (1 mark). That's 4 marks, how can you get two more???

I thought it was hard. I will be happy with anything over 60/75. I messed up the truncated spur question.

Does anyone remember the structure of the questions? Like how many 2 mark ones, how many 6 marks for each topic...?

Yup it was awful :/ Hardly had to use any case studies despite the teachers banging on about them... Now the question is will they do the same for Paper 2? :s
