How is 'Bath' pronounced?

How is 'Bath' pronounced by most Bath students?

Is it option A or option B?

I found it quite odd when someone used the second one in a conversation on one of my visit days.

I'm not trying to discern which one is correct (it's obviously option A ), just which one I might be hearing around campus (if I can actually meet my offer, that is).

It's quite debatable actually, but I think the majority say option A. Did you end up firming Bath for economics then? I'm going to be heading to Bath for Econ in September

I would say Bath the northern way (option B) but I assume most people from Bath pronounce it like option A

If you go to Bath University, you're going to be around a lot of southern, middle class kids who will probably say it like "Barth".
I say it like barrrth
Bathe.
I've always said Bay-the...

Yep. Pronouncing it with an 'a' is the American pronunciation. It's just the same sound as 'what,' though. Another one which gets on my nerves is titanium... It's not 'tight-ai-nium' (long I, in other words), it's 'ti-tai-nium' (short I).
Barth.
Barthe Simpson
I pronounce bath as edinburgh.
I am from bath, everyone pronounces it like option A because it is a southern middle class city. Most people I meet from outside of Bath pronounce it like option B though, doesn't really matter no proper way although obviously option A is more BBC English.
