Another Log Question

I am just a bit stuck on how to interpret the mark scheme for this question:

Here is my solution:

Here is the mark scheme:

On the third line down, they have put 1 to be logk k, which means you are able to antilock the equation, but I have used the other anti log method of logk= integer, so k^1 =X^2/5, would I still get full marks or not?? Thanks
