I've confirmed Cardiff as a firm choice to study fine art! applying for accommodation I've chosen Cyncoed halls as my first choice is this the right place or?

If you know for sure your course is at Cyncoed then yes, but as far as I'm aware it's the sport side of Cardiff met. Llandalf is the other campus 5 or more miles away so check where your course campus is. If it isn't Cyncoed then don't worry, plas gwyn may still have room (or call every morning like I did checking for sudden vacancies.)

Failing Plas Gwyn then the next best is Victoria halls (which is actually better furnished and larger inside than plas, but less student friendly I think in my opinion)
