i only know one thing about harry law: someone shat in the foyer a couple years back and set off the fire alarm so that everyone would see it....:hubba:

My God, another user from Melksham!

HL is dingy, more like a prison and the lift is crap, shudders but apparently it's the safest due to the fact it's hydraulic rather than cable.

yeah there is a couple of people from melksham that, co-incidently have ended up going to Portsmouth, and staying in Harry Law so it should be fun...although i doubt we will be excreting any waste in the foyer of the building! haha

Reply 4

hope not...cos i'm there this year

Reply 5

Ohhoho, great ... I'm in Harry Law 122. Does no one have anything nice to say about it?

Reply 6

YES! I had good times in Harry Law!
It's really not that bad... I was on the first floor... i think... well... the 2_ _ rooms anyway.......
i never figured out if it's the "first floor" or not. but thats besides the point.
122 is on the inside... you'll be able to see people go down to do their laundry. FUN... and 369 is on the corridor that was directly above me! I hated that corridor so much. They were SO LOUD EVERY NIGHT! ANYWAY... You'll have a room that faces outside... your view will be bateson! ... there was a gangsta looking kid in bateson last year that i used to stare at outside my friend's window...
Hope that helps.
Harry Law is SO much better than what everyone says...

Hey Ferox, i lived on the forth floor last year, room 547...its quality up there although the most notorious floors for partying were probably 3rd and 2nd! Well what can i say, i really enjoyed living there but because its corridor based, security tend to come around alot more then most other halls cos they have free reign of moving around..it got pretty annoying at times because they dont allow you to leave your door open as its a 'Fire Safety' hazard an u could burn if you leave it open  but no one really took notice of it anyway.. your close to all the bars on guildhall so u dont have to far to go!! gota shoot so let me know if u need any more info,

cheers

I can't wait to go now, still deciding if i take my 5.1 surround sound system with me, or just a few speakers. I'm still working full time, building up enough money to enjoy myself down in portsmouth...EEEK exciting!!!

You get the super awesome view of inside every room with the curtains open. As an added bonus, you're also not on the road which becomes a shouting war of racism at kick-out time.

Awesome, voyeurism here I come! ...

I'm finding it hard to picture still, being in the middle and all, but I guess it's not long till I find out.

Cheers for the info
