feeling down

sorry to start one of these threads, i'm just feeling really really low today and i'm not usually a a person who feels like this, i just don't know what to do. i just feel like i could cry for hours, and i hate crying, the simplest things seem to annoy me like today i was planning to go to the cinema and (long story) then i couldn't i actually cried and i'm not the kind of person that ever cries. i've never had pmt but i'm quite sure its not pmt as i'm not on and have a few weeks left till my periods start. i can't seem to do anything to take my mind of it either i love reading watching movies and listening to music but i just can't seem to focus. i'm just feeling so frustrated and down. i'm not looking for sympathy, but please help. I'm only posting annoymous because i'm on the family computer and don't want my family to see this- sorry.
If you don't usually feel like this then don't worry. You can't expect everyone to be happy and jolly all the time. You'll probably feel much better in the morning. If it persists, you need to start thinking about why you truthfully are feeling down.

Yer everyone has one of them days where evertyhing just gets on top of you and you just want to give in a say **** it. But like Saz says you dont normally feel like this so dont worry, sure when you wake up in the morning you will like your old self again.

lIKE THE OTHERES SAID IT'S NORMAL, I WOULDN'T WORRY ABOUT IT UNLESS IT GOES ON FOR A WHILE. I ALWAYS GET RANDOM PERIODS OF FEELING DOWN, I THINK SEEING FRIENDS AND GENERALLY BEING SOCIABLE HELPS DISTRACT ME SO I FEEL BETTER.

edit: woops just realised i posted this in all caps

You need someone just to say pull yourself together. It maybe a harsh thing to do when you're feeling down, but it works for me. If I get sympathy I actually believe that what I'm feeling is something real and that there is in fact a problem with me. More often than not, it's nothing major, you're just feeling crap/sorry for yourself and someone to say just get on with it is usually the best cure. So just say that to yourself.

you're not alone.

i've had times where i've had a normal day, but i feel like poo later and i just burst into tears, and everything seems horrible and stuff, and i just cry.. but then again it happens veryvery rarely, so everything comes out and yeah, it feels good once i've been through it all.

just try not to think so much, holidays often make people pretty depressed too, because some people don't have much to do, just take it easy =]
