Final year exam, and degree classification.

Hi,
I am a final year student just completed all my examinations. I did really poorly in one particular exam that there is a possibility that I will fail the half module it is in. However, I believe the other half makes up for it and give me a pass for that specific module. I have a fairly solid 2.1 overall. Will an honours degree be awarded if I fail one exam but pass all modules? Or will the school require me to re-sit that particular exam? I am an international student I don’t want to fly back to the UK during summer.
Anyone have an idea of the general case of my situation?
All universities vary, with my University if there are 2 components such as c/w and an exam or any other combo, then you have to get 40% on both components regardless of if you have done really good on one of the components.

Contact your registry/support office I would say.
It will depend on the specific regulations for your course at your uni, so it's a bit difficult for us to give specific advice.

Have you read your course handbook? There should be some info in there.
