written wrong numbers to answers in exam? HELP!

Oh god this is such a stupid mistake to make.. but in the history exam i took on wednesday (HIS1M USA 1890-1945), there were three questions, each with two separate parts to them - we had to answer each part to two questions.

I wanted to answer q's 2&3 so in the margin i should have written 03, 04, 05 and 06. for some reason i remember writing 01?? and i dont remember writing 05 and 06?

but i do remember looking over my paper at the end and seeing numbers i wrote next to my answers... ahhh!! I've emailed AQA but I dont really know if there's anything to be done!! anyone got any ideas to enlighten me?
Unless the examiner is a complete idiot (which in all fairness, is pretty likely ), they should be able to tell which answers correspond to which questions.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. The examiner should notice and they will credit what you've written to the correct question.

Any communication should be through your exams officer but seriously the papers are marked by people familiar with the exam and the syllabus, they will cope with it.

While the examiner is not obliged to give full credit your answer if it's wrongly questioned, they most likely will so don't worry too much

thanks everyone, this is a reassurance for sure!!! I'll be certain to talk to exams ASAP on Monday. I just still can't get over how doing exams for five years hasnt taught me this bit of common sense, safe to say I'm kicking myself right now...!

I actually ended up getting an A in that exam that I supposedly wrote the wrong question number in, so it ended up pretty well!! I'm sure you'll be fine:biggrin:

Not that I know of...on the other hand I wasn't completely sure that I wrote the wrong question number; I might just have been paranoid. Are you completely sure you wrote the wrong number?
