A Level choices!

My choices so far
Geography
Maths- M1 or C1?
Chemistry
Economics or Physics

Is economics fairly hard to understand? I want to take it as it goes well with geography.
With maths, the college offers only statistics or mechanics, opinions please.

I think you mean S1 or M1. Either ways, theres no real single answer in which is easiest. With M1, the techniques are often very mechanical in the way you use them but the physics side obviously catches people out. S1 has a lot of straight forward techniques, but its a lot easier to slip up on with your answers. From what i see on TSR, M1/S1 is the norm.

Economics at AS isnt particularly difficult, a few niggly key concepts which you need to understand otherwise you can quite easily drop 1/5 of the marks in the multiple choice. A2 economics is a lot tougher. Either ways, you will need to be fairly strong at essay subjects, otherwise your AS subjects are a good set.
