why do we need to use redox titrations?

okay so my question is why do we need to use redox titrations, what is the use of them ?

To determine reducing agents or oxidising agents, or to analyse things that can be turned into such. There are a massive number of possibilities.

For example to determine the percentage of copper in an alloy, to name but one.

It's like asking why do we need to be able to do acid-base titrations - there is a whole host of applications
