Sorry if this sounds a bit ignorant but if you're able to sit infront of a computer screen then surely it can't be that bad. Inless this is a struggle?

Hi mate.

When did you grow out of the migraines?

The vertigo I have at the moment is very very mild but just gets pretty annoying after a while. It gets worse when eating for example, or doing sports. My balance is definitely not 100%. I can sit in front of PC fine though tbh.

Strange. I started to get them when I was 14... and had them ever since. I'm sure I'll grow out of them though. Must be to do with development.

One of my friends kept getting headaches everyday in exam time, and sleeping loads as well. She went to the doctors and it turned out to be glandular fever, so to the OP it's possible you could have that, because it can last for ages without going away.

I've had migraines since I was very little. They come and go in phases. I hadn't had one for years and then I had a very bad spell of them.
I'm in a phase of having them at the moment although they aren't as bad as they used to be because of preventative medication i have. Even so the severity of my migraines always changed. Sometimes I couldn't move and if I tried to get up I would fall over. Other times I could walk, but would seem drunk and was just about able to get on with life.

Most people grow out of migraines, but you can still get them when you are older as well.

' glandular fever in other English-speaking countries) is a disease seen most commonly in adolescents and young adults, characterized by fever, sore throat and fatigue.'

She didn't say she had a sore throat so I think saying she has a disease is a bit over the top. No need to pointlessly worry her IMO.
