Foot Care.

Hi everyone.

After working in jobs where i'm on my feet all the time for about 4 years, they are not the nicest looking of all. They're not terrible. ugly, gross but some parts have hard dry skin and some of the skin is chipped where i get like bits of skin on the bottom of my feet coming up and they can hurt. Don't know how they come up but they do.

Anyway, I wanna try and get into some sort of foot care regime. What stuff can you lot recommend me using? Or any tips you think will be good? I want my feet to be nice and soft with a good pinky like colour, you know?

Thanks.

There's lots of creams and lotions out there, just go into Boots or Superdrug or somewhere.

i'd say maybe go for a pedicure initially so they can scrape all that hard stuff away (and it's just a nice treat to get your feet massaged ). Then, either you can get a whole pedicure kit (for example from the Body Shop, Boots etc) and give yourself a home pedicure maybe once a week. Or just pick up some foot cream (i have a really nice peppermint one!) and apply everytime your feet are feeling sore/dry.

Totally agree, I went to a local pedicure place - they can remove the excess which you can continue to treat. Sally Hair and Beauty offer a good range of products.

^Yeh they have that special tool that 'shaves' (yuck) off all that hard&dry skin that we could never get rid of on our own! :puke:
Its much easier to maintain after that

Doesn't a pedicure hurt? What does it involve? I've always been nervous about people cutting my toenails. My dad caught my skin once and since then i've always done it myself.
