you can tell them anything and everything? I do, hes a wonderful and sweet guy, more like an older brother to me than a friend. He never judges, and just keeps an eye out for me. Anyone else have a friend like that? :smile:

I never had one before I moved house, a year ago, and it was very nice finding a friend like that. :hugs:

Yeh, I do. I used to have quite a few people I would tell anything to because I felt close, but due to certain events in the past few months I find it so so hard to trust people now. It's really annoying, because I find myself unable to trust people I would usually, and I just have so much doubt in my mind. It's nice to have someone there for you though :smile:

I have a couple of friends i can tell most things to but never all, i don't know whether i'd be comfortable with anyone enough to do that. It's great to have someone always be there for you though

Yeah I have my best mate who I tell everything! Known her for 2years & she's amazing! Gona miss her so much when I go to uni, cos we going ot diff places..but doing the same subejcts!
Also got someone, who was my teacher, but I now see her as more of older sister or a friends, who I feel I can talk to about most things & she tells me most things. Do people think it's weird that I have a good friendship with someone who used to be my teacher?

At school it used to be a really close best friend, however things changed with us once we had left school and went out separate ways. :frown:

However, I'm lucky - on the first day of college, I found a girl I got on with really well. Two years on and the first person I met is the last person I will lost touch with from college (hopefully not lose touch with at all). I knew fairly soon that we would become close, we just really were on the same wavelength. I can talk to her about anything and everything, and she confides in me too.

I can also talk to my boyfriend about anything and everything, but there's something more in depth with my best friend. I think its because in a relationship, you are more or less needing to tell the other person most things especially if you are in a close relationship or a long term relationship. Whereas a friend, you have had to both make the decision to trust and confide in each other and it's not something you can do with just general friends I find. (But then again I am an introvert :biggrin:
