just wonderin, when a girl looks at you

Hey TSR, I was wondering due to this just happening to me, tell ya what I'll tell the whole story just because I'm bored :p:

I was just in a shop with my mum looking for a present for my sisters boyfriends birthday (what a fun thing to do). And we went into a sports shop. When in there one of the girls who worked there made definate eye contact with me twice while walking through the isles of clothes she didn't really smile but didn't frown either. And on the way out she made eye contact again and smiled. It wasn't a "do you need help sir?" kind of look.

She was the same age as me and good looking I was just intrigued by what that meant as girls don't really do this in my experience it hardly ever happens. I work 5mins from the shop as well.

Don't know why I'm posting this but I felt the need :tsr2:

Well obviously you're posting so we can all tell you how much she fancied the pants off you.

It's a look. What do so many people on TSR read so much into a look?

She's a shop assistant. It's part of the job.

it might have been nothing, but you will only know if you talk to her.

Yeah i agree.

I would say its just the shop assistant thing, its what we are trained to do afterall, look at, look after and smile at the customers!
but surely you can tell? body language and all that malarkey. if you think she might be interested, just go back and ask for her help in buying something, flirt a lil bit and see what happens!

Surely you can tell if it's a look or a look!?

Perhaps it was a look, seeing as you work there then go back after work of whenever maybe without you mum and see if she looks again if so say something.

Dunno what tho, I'm crap at stuff like that

Not wanting to piss on your parade, but part of our customer service mantra where I work is 'Establish eye contact'. It even has its own letter in the mnemonic.

She probably felt both intrigued and nervous upon seeing a customer drooling and staring at her

it ooks to me that she was probably interested in you at least a bit. in my jhob as a lifeguard it is obvious to me now if girls like me or not they will look several times at me and will make any excuse to either talk to me or to look at me, i have noticed this when girls are looking at my workmates or friends when im out. next time you go in and she does the same, do whatthe girls at my pool do and make an excuse to talk to her eg. "have you got these in this size" then try to make her giggle but that is up to you

hope that helps chap

I was in a similar position the other day, with the girl serving me in McDonalds. She stared at me constantly then asked me if i wanted to go large with my meal. Blatantly wanted me.
Did she do anything like start playing with her hair/ fiddling clothes or jewellry after you broke eye contact? That is a tell tale sign of whether she liked the look of you or not. As long as you werent doing anything particullarly to try and attract her attention (i.e. creepy staring), there is a chance that she was interested. Sounds to me like you just didnt have the confidence to go up and speak to her, and essentially, find out if she was interested.

I think so to. You clearly know how to excite classy girls....

She definitely didn't want to do the sex with you.

That would be idiotic behaviour, thinking something like that. Idiotic! Facile! Childish! Appalling! Fascist! Paedophile! Sick!

Yeah, stop looking at me like that.
