Starting Birkbeck College, London autumn 2014 - Accomodation help!
I'm starting Birkbeck this September.. this year they're only reserving places in the Intercollegiate Halls for international students. So now I'm looking into private accommodation like Unite and CRM in central ish London; but it's all so expensive, my maintenance loan isn't gonna cover it.
Just wondering if there are any other Birkbeck students going into first yr who are in a dilemma about what to do for accommodation - I would be up for doing some sorta house share, my budget is max about £170 pw.. thanks

I'm already a student at Birkbeck doing a Cert. HE in social sciences and will be starting my Degree there this September.
I know the situation with accommodation sucks. I am looking for a flat share as well in Zone 1-2. PM me if your interested in starting a group to find a place with and I can have a chat with the SU services
