He can't even hack me and I told him my IP address (62.25.145.203 now...) and that nick he said isn't even online on DALnet, although I don't know how he thinks he could hack me over IRC, he may be able to DDoS me only, but as I have a dynamic IP address its impossible to keep me off the net.
did he try to though? because thats funny. (clever little boy that he is  )

Not as far as I know, although I haven't checked my firewall logs. I would probably notice a DDoS attack as I wouldn't be able to use the net very much! But then I would just get a different IP address...
he has gone on about 'ping' in the past, perhaps thats all he knows really. anyone can do that though!

Hehe I haven't seen one for ages, last time I saw one was at Plessey Woods but it was through the trees and I don't know why one would be there
You never get peacocks where I live, but my one week of experience of them years ago still scares me now, and people just laugh...

There were goats too and horses, and a cat that used to kill about 10 mice a night and line them up on the doorstep, ahhhhh great times

My relations used to have a farm and a peacock, it used to scare the hell outta me and chase me - it was bigger than me...
warning!!! - never do a 'sort-of' impression of a peacocks mating call/normal squawk - they chase you! fast! with their big bloody feather-tails or fanned out!

ran for miles i did! kinda...(i was a fat kid, )

A ping is harmless unless its done repeatedly very fast and by a lot of different com puters...

Unimpressive. I wouldn't be impressed if you wrote your own stuff, and that would be infinitely more impressive than just using other people's stuff.
lol not really i have my own bots on an ircd and put them on a couple of secure networks i.e. efnet

Why? Didn't you write it? No, you just used someone else code. No different or clever than using any other program, not clever at all.

heh
anyone use mcafee firewall plus? there are messages saying from it saying:

A computer at xxxxxxx.xxxx.aol.com has attempted to access one of your system ports (TCP port xxx). If you want to allow traffic on this port, it must be selected in the "System Services" tab in the Options dialog.
TCP port xxx is commonly used by the "DCE endpoint resolution" service or program. Port xxx is used by Windows and presents a considerable security risk. The firewall has blocked an attempt to access this port. This port should NOT be opened except in certain circumstances where you are protected by another firewall (e.g. in a corporate DMZ situation). If needed, this port can be opened in the "System Services" tab

whats happening?

Someone port scanning or trying to connect to your computer for nefarious deeds. Nothing to worry about as the firewall blocked it.
