Is there anyone out there with experience in either Biomedical or Biological Sciences, who can give some advise on which one to choose?

Hi there,

I'm studying biomedical science at aston uni. I'm really enjoying the course, except right now as I'm preparing for my exams

I can't say much about biological science, but biological science is also a degree available at aston. Therefore a few of the modules in the first year are the same as in biomedical science such as physiology, cell biology and molecular biology.

Yea, I don't envy you. The reason I am swaying more to Biomed is because it's accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Science. Thanks for the reply, I think I have made my decision

I started out doing biomedical sciences but switched to biochemistry in second year because it wasn't for me... however it is fine if you're OK with handling blood, looking at cadavers etc.
