Hi, i have just been accepted to study economics at HKU, i am a UK student and am currently applying for halls at HKU. Could anyone help me with what halls i should apply for?
I would prefer mixed halls which are also relatively modern. I would prefer a single room but i know this is hard to come by and therefore can make exceptions.
I have short listed a number of halls including:
Starr Hall
Lee shau kee hall
suen chi sun hall
Simon k.y lee hall
Blocks A and B

Could anyone help explain what these are like and which one is probably the best?

Thanks

Alex

Go for Skylee. It is so ridiculously close to campus. It is literally INSIDE the campus.

The other one is Starr - excellent social life, especially if you like chinese girls

Every exchange student that goes to RC Blocks A and B tends to live in an "exchange student bubble" and just interact with people from their own country. I would personally advise against it, and many of my exchange friends in A/B are nearing the end of their stay and look back on their time here quite wastefully.
