Taebo is quite good, when you do it.
But you get quite sick of it by the end of the week. Although after a few days your dying to do some taebo

Get the one with Jade Goody in it. You'll lose weight through laughter if nothing else.

Pump It Up worked for me.

It is for sure the best workout!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I use it 3 or 4 times a week. It tones your body so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! there are 3 different versions

1. pump it up
2. pump it up high energy
3. pump it up beach body/workout

I use the first one but apparently they are all good!!!!:tsr2:

Carmen Electra's one is fun if you're into that kind of thng and have plenty of space! Having sasid that, I have bought dvd's in the past, done them once and then they have just sat on the shelf. Hope you do better than me!
I once sat and watched the whole of the Cindy Crawford one while eating nachos. A sad day indeed.
Ministry of Sound do a series called 'Pump It Up' and the one I found best was the 'beach body workout' - great music so you can really get into it and the workouts were really good! I managed to pick them up for £6.99 each off play.com. Would highly recommend them.

Stan Collymore's dogging DVD is apparently really good.
This might be a little too specific if you've never tried it, but Jean Butler's Irish Dance Masterclass is amazing. There are so many exercises on it, and it wears you out quite quickly (although I am really unfit ) so it'll be ages before you've seen and done everything on it. There's a Glossary which shows you how to do the basic moves if you've never tried it before, and some great special features, including being able to programme your own workout. As well as dancing there's a Warm-Up, Core Stability, Stretching and Cool-Down.

5 Star recommendation from me

I hate Taebo. But that's coz the punching movement makes my wrist hurt.

Carmen Electra's Aerobic Striptease is OK, but very boring. When they teach it you, you repeat everything 50 million times. And it didn't feel like it was doing anything.

Mr Motivator is really great. He tells you how long to do it for if you're a beginner, intermediate or advanced. And he has ideas on sensible diet tips too. However, the dodgy lycra clothes are off putting.

I have one called Callenetics or something, and that is very boring. And you need a dance studio with a barre.

Pump It Up is my favourite. It has different sections, so you can miss a few out to start off, and then when you get better you can do more. They're not hard moves (except that "pony". I don't get that!) but you do a lot of them and fast so you get results.
