Source question in AQA Histoy ?

Seriously do not know how to answer 12 and 24 mark source questions.
Plzzzzz help!
For the 12 mark source question you need to say how the sources are different in what they say, secondly you identify any similarities ( these can be obscure but just make sure you identify something so that you address the "how far" section) and then you need to use your OWN KNOWLEDGE to explain why they are different e.g. For nazi Germany- Von Papen was a conservative leader so wanted to protect the interests of these groups which were threatened by the idea of the second revolution whilst Rohm was the leader of the SA and out of self interest wished to promote the second revolution. Then conclude with "how far"- so essentially these sources are fundamentally the same/different because....

For the 24 marker you need to firstly agree with the idea proposed, then disagree and come to a conclusion in the same was as the non-source 24 marker. But you must include some info from the sources for example you might say that "Source A conveys the idea that the churches were compliant with the nazis as they shared some fundamental beliefs as quote, "The Nazi idea of anti-communism appealed to the churches" and then you would go on to expand why/how this was the case.

I used nazi germany as that's the unit I' doing but the concept is the same for any AQA Unit 2- hope this helps!
