GCSE maths c/wk The fencing problem

Help i am an extremely confused 16 year old blond female which i suppose says it all really. I cant find any c/wk sites other then essaybank that i can print my c/wk off of. This is an emergency! someone please help me the title is in the subject box!!!!!!!

hey i did this coursework last year so heres some ideas for ya!

-start simple, squares and rectangles! make SURE you do a SQUARE!
-move on to triangles...... DONT FORGET AN EQUILATERAL one!!!
i think you need trig. for the triangles.
-"notice" certain shapes with certain properties (think lengths of ALL sides) give bigger areas.... hint: CAPS :smile:

-do polygons (link it to the special property...) ... i went up to 8. to calc. area split in to triangles, calc. area as before and then multiply by no/ sides of shape :smile:

now think "whats the shape with the biggest no sides that has the special property...." hint some people think its got one side but i rekon its got an INFINATE no sides....... :wink:

you can go on and develope a forumla to calculate the area of any regular polygon to get higher marks ie algebra stuff i did it but its tricky to simplify.

when will we ever EVER NEED TO USE TIGINOMITRY OR STUPID BLOODY HERONS FORMULEA IN REAL LIFE??????? NOBODY IV'E EVER MET HAS SAID TO ME " I am sooooo glad I new how to use trig, without it I don't know were I would be" or " thank God for maths, without it that stampeed of elephants would av killed me for sure!!!" what is the point in maths? I wanna b a photographer when on earth will I need maths. AGH!!!!!!!
