Finally I found someone else who did this exam!
A lot of people in my school found it difficult, I think the sources on question a were a bit strange but okay once I got into them and the public health question on civil engineering was a fair question once I got into it but the sources weren't great but I was able to argue about john simon, snow bazalgette and the great stink and ended up saying that the main reason was link between dirt and disease - what questions did you do?

I done the poor law question, which i thought it would be an easier question than the public health.

I didnt expect such hard questions to turn up tbh. I should have done the public health not sure how easy was the sources but question was fairly reasonable.

for poor law, I done main reason was fear of workhouses - used that lies were told about it

lack of understanding which caused fear

other factors

resistance in the north such as it was implemented in cyclical depression

resistance groups set up by John fielden and Richard Oastler

Due to partly about timing i missed 2 other factors. so i kinda messed up on this question

I only studied the Poverty bit so answered section B about the opposition to the Poor Law. The 20 marker's sources were hard to interpret but I think I just managed.

... and I have to say I'm so glad I'm done with this unit, easily one of the most boring history topics.

the 20 mark sources were ok but the 40 mark is just absolutely ridiculous. Who even writes these exams?!

dw, I think we all found it difficult. The sources were hard to interpret, question was difficult. But its done and dusted. We just have to wait till results day.
