    Hi peeps,

My mate has recently reformatted his computer, and he needs to install his graphic drivers before he can do certain stuff, but he does not know what graphic drivers he needs. :\ Below is his dxdiag, and hopefully one of you will be able to know what graphic drivers they have in them computers?

Why don't you try the Microsoft Update. It will see that the driver's not installed and may work.

That card is an ATI mobility card as far as i can tell. These drivers should work

edit: if this fails try this piece of software http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/...entifier.shtml
How can you tell its an ATi card? It doesn't say the ATi anywhere in the txt document LPK provided. What I would do first is check whether it is an integrated card or a dedicated one by looking at the back of the system. If it is integrated, run CPUZ to find out which mobo it has and then get the drivers. If it is a dedicated card, try the program Ghost101 provided, if it fails, rip the system open and read off the card the make and model.

IF nobody else can figure it out download/install/run SiSoftware Sandra and open Video Card Information. The first two lines will show the model of the card: a Radeon will be by ATi, a Ge/nForce by nVidia.

I'm pretty sure I've used Sandra to determine the drivers I need before. But good point nonetheless.

    Hi LPK,
I have used the Packard Bell website (www.packardbell.co.uk) and have found the PC to be an iMedia 1501 from the text file you posted. This, I believe is the PC in question http://www.studentcomputers.co.uk/pb...media-1501.htm

The card you have is an SiS651GX

    Hope this helps
    Regards
    Anthony

P.S. As with all drivers/system changes, ensure a backup of all personal files/folders is done beforehand to an external media!

    Hi,

That is the right PC, but I can't find anywhere that the driver can be downloaded from. :s: Anyone know a link to it?
