Just thought I'd mention the York uni pages on TSR wiki. I'm not sure how many of you know about them, but they exist.

They are, however, incomplete and could do with help from you all to make them a better and a more comprehensive guide to York University and a valuable resource to students and prospective students.

If you want to add anything, then it works just like wikipedia and anyone can edit any page and create new pages.

    The York pages are:

    http://thestudentroom.co.uk/wiki/University_of_York
    http://thestudentroom.co.uk/wiki/Uni...dent_Societies
    http://thestudentroom.co.uk/wiki/York_Colleges_Halifax

As you can see, only one college currently has a page, the others need one too. There are also several empty sections in the unis main article too.

Thanks to the person who's added a lot of info on the Alcuin College article.

The other colleges also have articles now, but just have blank headings. Go and add details for your college...how ever much or little you can add to the pages, it'll be worth while...just get writing

Being an Alcuinite I don't really know what much about the other colleges really. You could always use the Wikipedia as a base to get you started though (not totally sure about how the licences work though, as they are GFDL and TSR is Creative Commons)

    Good stuff

There is a University of York category now too and all Uni of York pages need to be placed in to it.

The category page can bee seen at http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/wiki...ersity_of_York

If anyone wants to create a new York article, then please add

    [[Categoryniversity of York]]

to the bottom of the article to place it in the category.

I've altered the York uni page a bit recently to format it similar to other unis. I've added a bit more info too, but there are now more empty headings which could do with some input to fill out...if anyone can help.

Just thought I'd up this thread seen as the subforum seems to be a bit busier than it was.

Is there anyone else who feels they can add anything to the University of York articles?

I feel these pages in TSR Wiki could be a useful resource to anyone at York of thinking of going to York, especially Freshers. We just need a bit more information on them and a few more details and everything.

Feel free to add whatever you can. Even create new pages if you feel something warrants it's own article an there is enough information to support one. Let's get these pages updated.
