Has anyone else wondered this? Serious question.
Why do people wear socks? Why don't shoemakers simply produce shoes that are comfortable to wear by themselves, rather than needing socks? It's got to be possible nowadays.. Thoughts?
Socks are supposed to be a snug fit, shoes aren't. If you don't wear socks there will be a lot of skin abrasion in your shoes, and it will hurt and lead to blisters.

Well thats just down right dangerous.
Socks are multi purpose. The are extra clothing to keep your feet warm, they soak up sweat and prevent shoe odour, they can be used to help have a more snug fit in a shoe since shoes are not custom made to fit etc.
Because my feet get cold quite easily

I wear socks round the house, and in bed in the winter! I thought it was normal.......
Do what you want
but I just think it's weird wearing it in your own home.I never wear it to bed, my duvet is enough to keep me warm.
Shoes that don't require socks would just smell after a while if you don't wear socks
