Do you think you'd make a great boyfriend/girlfriend?

Who sometimes feels like they're overlooked as a potential boyfriend/girlfriend (either because they're not considered attractive, not popular, not confident enough...) but are convinced they'd make a great boyfriend or girlfriend and would make someone really happy? It just seems a bit annoying when you see people going for the wrong type of boyfriend and girlfriend and you know for certain that things wouldn't happen like that with you...

I get that feeling sometimes. I've been single for so long, and when I see people clearly take their partner for granted I feel so annoyed. Like on wifeswap, with that rich guy who's wife was essentially his maid, didn't do anything for her or the kids, but she loved him to bits. Or when I passed through London victoria at evening rush hour on Valentines day and loads of city types were buying their wives jewelery, cards and flowers ON THE STATION CONCOURSE. I just thought what a bunch of thoughtless tossers. I'd hope I'm not like that. I'm still not convinced I'd be a great boyfriend however, just better than those losers.

I would [will?] be a damned awesome boyfriend. That is, provided I can put into practice the advice that I've variously dispensed throughout 'H&R' as opposed to being a jealous and vindictive bastard.
