I haven't got enough revision notes on transition metal complexes and nmr spectrum, I need practice on those. Can anybody suggest some resources / websites etc.. to cover these particular topics in detail?

Chemguide has quite a good amount of detail on NMR:
http://www.chemguide.co.uk/analysis/nmrmenu.html
If you're doing OCR Salters B, it's Proton NMR that you're interested in, but even if you do another course...I think it's usually Proton NMR they cover.

Complex ions are also on Chemguide:
http://www.chemguide.co.uk/inorganic...xmenu.html#top

Also for general Chemistry revision, I've always found this website good
http://www.docbrown.info/

Hope those help

Not really I'm afraid :/ I'm just using a combination of past papers, the Salters Textbook and Salters Revision Guide (and those websites) for revising :P Are you doing AS or A2?

A2 brah, nice to see someone in the same boat... Quick question - may seem silly but do alcohols\amines hydrogen bond with themselves? I always thought a carbonyl or the like was needed...

Ah that's good, I'm not the only one having the joy of doing Salters Chemistry :L primary & secondary amines can form hydrogen bonds with themselves, alcohols too Any molecule which has a hydrogen atom attached directly to an oxygen or a nitrogen is capable of hydrogen bonding
