I've got my OCR Global Issues paper in a couple of weeks, and I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on how the impacts of coastal flooding may differ from fluvial flooding?

I was thinking main differences might be the effect of salt vs fresh water inundation, plus the higher death tolls associated with storm surges. Anyone got any other suggestions?
