EU students deadline

Hello,
I am an EU student applying for a full time course starting in 2014 and I am a bit puzzled if it comes to the final deadline.

I've read that I need to apply up to 30th May but the webpage left me unsure whether it applies to those sending their loan request online only or as well the EU nationalities? The date of 30th May was stated in the section of online applications (then UK only), as for EU I read that we have time up to nine months after starting the course which gives me a bit more time to fill the papers.... Hence, I don't know if I should be panicked about having so little time or not.

The nine month deadline applies to EU and Student Finance England as the absolute latest to get funding. However, we recommend that you have your application submitted by the 30th of May to ensure your funding is in place for the start of the academic year. This is a guideline not a deadline.
