Going into the field of Public Health and Epidemiology

Hi,

I wanted to know if anyone has completed their degrees/Masters in anything relating to Public Health and Epidemiology. I aspire to work in the field of Epidemiology specifically tailored around Global Health and I would like to know your experiences so far

I have not done but can tell you that absolutely the best place to do this in the UK is LSHTM.

Something I might advise you of is that people go in for epidemiology supposing that it's going to be about policy solutions and discover that it's in large part about data collection and statistical modelling. That may or may not suit.

I have researched a little into LSHTM but I think I need to definitely do more research.

That's a very good point about Epidemiology. Data collection and stats modelling is something that I have an interest in. The links you've given are so good! Currently watching Elisabeth Pisani video, she's quite funny! Will have to also give the book a read as well, thank you for your help!
