Pirate dvds will always be bought, as long as people can access films for less cost, watch them in the convience of home, and can watch them quicker, i.e. before they appear at the cinema.

Almost everyone i know buys them, sells them, or has access to them, but then again this is hull.

I believe all copyright and other patent laws preventing piracy should be scrapped.

They are useless and no one obeys them...its just a waste of tax payers money cracking down on piracy.

Has anyone seen those chinese guys 'u wont dvd?'

so much of tax payers money goes into cracking down on them, and they are stills strong... so why waste money protecting a million pound industry and putting these guys out of job?

I say scrap non-sensical laws.

Pirate copies around here comes out of peoples taps... people also always ask me to do copies for them since i did it for one or two people before... :indiff:

Plus it's easy to replicate the cases, the CDs and the extra features on a disc so it looks alot appealing to people than paying the full price for them.

I goto most of my friends houses these days and they have their fair share of games/DVDs pirated

If copyright laws were scrapped there'd be no new films/music etc. as there would be absolutely no reason for people to continue making them.

You declined because we made special offers, of giving me dvds in return, who was it that provided me with my copy of family guy again....

Hurricane is possibly the worst pirater ever, ps2 games, pc games, music, dvds... you name it....
