I've got an offer for Biomedical Sciences, does this degree count as 'leading to a healthcare profession'? Does it matter what I answer seeing as I'm not eligible for NHS/DoH bursaries anyway?
Also, how much interest builds up on maintanence loans? I'm going to be living at home for the first year and commuting to London every day. Should I get the maximum maintanence loan that I'm entitled to (up to £4418) or would it be more wise to work it all out in order to get the least interest on my maintanence loan? Though I'm guessing this money is used to buy books etc?
Thanks!

Hi Superfly,
unless your course attracts an NHS busrary you would answer no to that question.
You can find out more about the repayment of your loans here:
