Does anybody know if any reputable stockbrokers offer any kind of work experience placements or internships?

And are they even necessary? Or do they tend to take on graduates straight after their degree?

Thanks in advance.

The large brokers tend to have a structured internship programme and this usually is needed to jump onto their grad programmes. Otherwise get 2 years worth of proven sales experience and read up on a bit of finance and make the transition.

Such as?

I've looked on a few stockbrokers websites and they are pretty poor in terms of career information.
