Hi, I will be starting my postgraduate studies at the university of Edinburgh this year. Could anybody please provide information about if it's cheaper living on or off campus? I wll be studying there for a year from September. I would like information from fellow students as to which is more affordable when you factor in all inclusive rent. I would prefer a one bedroom ensuite apartment or maximum 2-3 bedroom shared apartment. Thanks in advance for any information you can provide.

Have a look through the sticky 'Edinburgh University Accommodation Thread' which is near the top of the forum.

Also, I think you mean in university owned accommodation vs a private let? Edinburgh is not a campus university.
