As latin literature

Please please can someone help me with how to answer latin literature questions?? My exam is Tuesday 3rd June and I still can't do it!!! :'(
okay well the structure that gets you the most marks is:
a) state your general point, as related to the question. (Q: How does Ovid emphasise his love for the girl? Beginning of Answer: Ovid continually reiterates his love for the girl...)
b) THEN QUOTE by using a colon (Ovid continually reiterates his love for the girl: quote here)
c) THEN pick out a stylistical point, so i usually go for word choice so whether that be a noun, adjective or verb that has a special effect, BUT you could go for syntax, sound effects (sibilance, alliteration) or an ACTUAL LITERARY DEVICE - there are lots of these, for example chiasmus, asyndeton, anaphora, litotes.
d) then explain the EFFECT of your stylistical point: so why this brings something interesting to the text, how your point relates back to the question...

hope i helped!
