Any gap year recommendations/ideas?

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone can help me, please! As of September, will be a 3rd year history student.. yikes  Anyway, for me, Masters or anything like that is off the cards... Enough learning now, I just want to travel. (I know it's early days, but I need to think about saving money now etc #studentlife) Went to Italy last year, and off to Sweden, Estonia, Russia and Finland this year... so I'm enjoying seeing different cultures and going away. For a gap year though, thinking at the moment (preferably), Australia.. or at least, if not Australia, somewhere different which gives me the opportunity to have a great experience and see places/meet people. Thought I may as well post in here as there's so much on google and i'd prefer to hear of actual experiences So after all of that... does anyone have any good recommendations/ideas or just some advice for what I need to consider for a gap year? Thanks a lot, hope everyone has a great summer.
I suggest you should go to South America.

Place like Brazil or Argentina.

It is quite cool.

One thing to know, I think you are considering going to somewhere you know.

At least you have some knowledge about it.

If you are interest, just PM me or reply.

We will proceed from there.

I have some knowledge about the Latin America area.

I hope I can share with you.

Like the Maya and things.

Heaps.

Go for somewhere or do something that you could use to make your CV stand out because a history degree is of little use really
South America could be awesome!
Life has a funny way of re-arranging your priorities. So keep that in mind.

After my sister got her degree in journalism, she took a year out, and got in touch with a charity called Restless Development, and the long and short of it is that she went to South Africa for three months teaching English to students over there. (And I think it came to about £850 all in, which considering everything really isn't that bad in terms of price) So something along those sorts of lines may be of interest to you, rather than doing the travelling for the sake of it. And a perfect opportunity to learn about other cultures, languages and societies. My sister considers the experience as one she won't forget.

I don't think it will help your CV.

Go somewhere is just for fun.

It is all about building relationship with your employer.

It is a different thing.

If you think about going to just make CV stand out, you are not going to have fun.

It is like a chore

Is English your first language?
Gap years can absolutely help your CV stand out, if you approach it in the right way.

If you are the employer, you will know.

I mean, I am not impressed by someone when I first meet.

Talking about girls as the easy part.

I see a girl, I may like because of beauty.

But, I will consider the whole thing.

Her characters, her lifestyle.

It takes long time.

Same for the job.

The employer wants to know about you.

It does not matter about the gap year.

It is about what you learn through that gap year.

That is why it is important in this.

Travel.

Do you feel overwhelmed by hearing too much at once?

That is what the tourist guide do.

I just want to look at pictures.

If they give me like a small stories about something a day, I will like it.

Just like building relationship.
