Hiya! For the law essays I often find that writing them out over and over again helps. You could also use revision cards and put the main points onto the cards. Write detailed, and undetailed plans for the essays (and then find someone to explain it to -parent, sibling, classmate, pets or even to yourself).
My law teacher told the whole class to condense the essays into bullet points and then learn them, that way you can learn all the main points and the only thing you have to worry about in the exam is making sure it reads clearly
