If you found AS maths straightforward, then you should have no trouble with A2. It's not harder than AS at all - it just builds on what you've already learnt. Everyone in my maths set agreed that A2 pure modules were easier than AS pure modules, simply because of the massive conceptual leap from GCSE to AS e.g. you didn't know what a derivative was. But AS to A2 is easier because you already know the basic language of maths, and you just start to apply it.

AS Module Scores:
C1-91
C2-92
FP1-81
M1-100
S1-82
D1-77

A2 Modules
C3- 84
C4- 86
M2- 82
M3- 86
M4- 11
S2- 89
FP2- 77
FP3- 67

As you can see they're not massively appart.
I would say there is a noticeable jump. I reckon C3 covers almost as much as C1 & C2 put together.
The material is a bit harder (and more interesting) but nothing to worry about if you found AS easy. Its all doable and well explained in the texts.
