Yep Yep I shave down there! I use my venus xtreme 3 blade which is really good because it like moves around so I can get those nooks and crannies! Hahha. Um yeah also it has this rubber bit at the top so that I'm less likely to cut myself. I've never cut myself in my lady parts yet which is good. Um yeah I actually cut it first with scissors it depends how much there is. Then I shave and I do it in the bathtub like lying on my back so with my legs up so I can pull my skin taught so that I don't cut myself. It's really boring and for me it doesn't grow back that fast in comparison to other parts of my body...legs underarms but when it does grow back it's like really thick and more...if you get what I mean. Yeah I think it's good to be open. Have you by any chance ever had a full body wax? I'm thinking of getting one but I'm scared...

Vagina hair? Thanks for the disturbing visual. Bleugh!
Anyway, I don't shave. Just trim. Whenever I shave the stubble just digs in and it really hurts... Apparently it's better to trim rather than shave anyway.

Ugh why is it so tough being female?

Umm its probably better than shaving because it lasts longer. The pain just lasts as for as long as you're in there.
Mind you the person who waxed me was rubbish, she left big chunks out which I had to go home and pluck out, which isn't good as you're already feeling tender.
It also depends on youre pain threshold, if you've had a child this is probably nothing

Lolol too many expectations.. I got my legs waxed too. And now I have ingrown hairs which I decided to pick.. So I now have scabby legs

I think it's good to be open here on TSR and so this is why I am posting this. Do people shave their vagina hair and if so what type of device do you use and the hair there is quite hard to remove I find, and grows back really fast. Do people think it is odd that I do this or is this the norm anything you have to say about this perhaps personal topic then feel free to post. We should be confident about our bodies and willing to share details such as this as we all have one after all !!

Using those shaving creams will make hair grow a bit slower, and wax even more (tho it hurts like a *****, but it's a good option). You can also start a laser hair removal, which after a year (aprox, depends on each person) will make your hair stop growing definitely, in any place you want. And as you get the treatment, it will grow slower each time.
If not, go for the most common thing; a razor.
You have to be CAREFUL. I recommend exfoliating down there first a day or two before to get rid of the dead skin. This will stop ingrown hairs from growing and will make the whole thing easier.
Take shaving cream, or a bit of your common hair conditioner. Follow this order when shaving;
Down, to the left, to the right, and gently up.
If you have any questions about anything feel free to ask!! Sorry for such long reply ^^

Hello there! I hope you are doing fine. Shaving your vagina is completely normal. Actually 75% of women shave down there. It does grow very fast, yes, but it is completely normal. I'm not sure how old you are, but if your partner is mature enough, they will definitely understand, and it won't be an issue at all (speaking from personal experience)
