MSc Supply Chain Management

Hi, I hardly see any posts related to MSc Supply Chain Management. So I decided to become the first drop here...I am interested in MSc Logistics/Operations Supply Chain Management. I have applied

Warwick
Durham
Lancaster
Strathclyde
Leeds
Cranfield
Manchester

Still waiting for universities to get back to me as it has just been a week since I have applied. Kindly If anyone can help me to rank them according to MSc Supply Chain. Which is better than the other and why? which university can give better career prospects?
Please need some help advice.
Thanks
Sho

HiDurham, Warwick, Leeds and Strathclyde are probably your best bets purely based on their rankings.I have heard terrible things about Cranfield in terms of there being poor teaching and the courses being a bit hit and miss as its just a money spinning exercise for them.it depends a lot on what you're looking for in relation to the quality of the degree or the overall package like entertainment factor. In which case Leeds or Manchester are probably the best bets in that scenario and Warwick is pretty dead but Coventry, just up the road has a good club scene.Hope this helps 😀

Hi,

I know this is an old thread, but still glad to know that people are considering Cranfield for MSc in Supply Chain Management. Not very sure about others, but about Cranfield here are some important points to consider:

1. Cranfield University MSc Supply Chain Management is ranked 1st outside the US and 12th globally in the Supply Chain Management World ‘University 100’ annual survey 2016,

2. In the Top 20 Supply Chain Management annual survey 2016, Cranfield University MSC Supply Chain Management is ranked 2nd in Europe, the Middle East and Africa for providing young people with the skills and mix of expertise required to develop as supply chain leaders of the future.

3. As we are a wholly postgraduate institution, contact and projects (practical or research) with real companies is part of the Cranfield experience and forms part of your course module. Thus, graduates normally walk straight into a job after completion of their studies (some before) or a research/ PhD program, if that is your career aim.

I hope this helps!

Best,

Hi,

I am planning to pursue my masters in Supply chain and Operations management. I am a bit confused to choose from Swansea University or Sussex university for MSc. It would be great if the students or ambassadors can help me out with which is a better university for MSc in Supply chain from Swansea and Sussex. Also, some insights about employability of both universities would be a great help. Any other help would be really appreciated.
Thanks!

I did too. Did you get in touch with students in regards to reputation of the program, employability etc?
I went through the modules, to be honest they are a bit glim compared to modules of universities such as liverpool, cardiff etc.

The modules are way better than what are being offered at Exeter. Should engage with the current students at both universities. i felt like the modules at Exeter are too generic and theoretical. wouldn't be much of an help on ground.
