I do not know how to do this questions at all.

Your top question isn't very easy to read although I think I can work out what it's trying to say!

To start with, what laws of indices have you been taught?

I think i know know.

you add power of 3 so it makes 4 to the power of 8 and 5. Then just follow the rules. to get the above answer.
