Standard Grade/Intermediate/National 5

I have a a couple of questions. First of all what is standard grade grade 1 or 2 equivalent to at int 2 ? Some people are saying its A-C and some say only A-B. Second, can you do Higher with a C at int 2 ?

credit level is generally equivalent to int2.

In theory theres no set rule to say you must have achieved a certain grade in sg/int2 to get into a higher but most schools have a policy of only allowing pupils with a 1 or 2 at SG or a A or B at int 2 to do higher.
